German White is a hardneck, a Porcelain variety, known for its beautiful white parchment-like skin–when not covered in soil like the large, freshly dug German White pictured above. German White is a great roasting variety and stores well through the winter months. Usually produces 4 – 6 easy-to-peel cloves and has a moderately spicy flavor. Our German White makes outstanding planting stock with bulbs over 2+ inches.
